Summers here in Arizona are harsh! We all know that, with that said we've had a lot of questions of


'What can I do for my lawn during the summer?'


This is common, the best thing you can do is make sure you're watering your grass, now you don't have to water every single day, the best way to check if your lawn is getting the proper water is to check. As long as the water reaches at least 10 inches below the soil, the roots of grass will get the amount they need.


'How do I check?'


The best way to check is if you have soil probe or even a screwdriver that is at least 10 inches long and stick it into the soil after an hour of watering. If it goes in easy, you're all set!


If not, you may need adjust the time to water a little longer, then test again and see if the results have changed.


The best time to water is to do it at least 1-2 hours before sunrise.
